Reaper of the Wolves

 Reaper of the Wolves

In the 4th book of the King of Wolves series, the story of Andras and Citala, which began in the 3rd book, continues. Andras and Sulien hate each other but have been playing this game for a very long time. The stakes of their game - the beautiful vampire Citala, daughter of the wolf-kin Rieka, and her Fae husband, Uriel. Sulien is a vampire hybrid, but Andras, is even more than that, and just how much more is something Sulien is only just beginning to find out.
Citala finds herself having to choose between them when a third option appears on the scene, the charismatic Gwyar, grandfather of Sulien, and as wealthy and powerful as an ancient and immortal vampire can be. Despite his reputation for being bloodthirsty and cruel, Citala finds him to be considerate and kind, at least when it comes to herself and his family.
When the gates to Eden, then Empyrea, the ancestral homelands of the five races are opened, Andras has a chance to claim Citala's heart. Why then, does she find him with the pretty Aos si woman Aderyn, how is Sulien able to claim her once more, and why doesn't Andras just end the game once and for all.
Uriel thinks that the answer to the first question lies inside the body of Andras himself, and the answer to the last question lies with the soul that occupies it. As the scheming Sulien tries to hold onto the woman he loves using compulsion, intrigue, and lies, Andras knows that the truth is on his side - all he has to do is wait.
